I want to scream every time they look at me with hungry eyes, to let them know that there is more beneath these fabrics than my thighs and my chest. All their compliments blur together, like a fogged up car window, when they tell me how sexy I look with stilettos and the way my perfume draws them in like a wild animal looking for game. I don’t think they see the letters tattooed on my bones and the fire in my blood. If they open up my rib cage, I swear there is another planet somewhere in the system.”
